11 killed as rain pounds Sao Paulo

Sao Paulo [Brazil], Mar 12 (ANI): At least 11 people have been killed so far in Sao Paulo city of Brazil after heavy rains lashed the region.
Sao Paulo’s Fire Department said that scores of people have also suffered injuries. Roads in the city are also flooded as rains caused mudslides.
According to Al Jazeera, around 110 millimetres of rains were recorded in the last 24 hours in the city.
The weather department has forecast further heavy rainfall for the next few days. (ANI)
