85 electric vehicle charging stations installed in Delhi
All these e-vehicles charging stations are operational for public use.

New Delhi: As many as 85 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations have been installed by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi at 82 locations across city and all 85 EV charging stations have become operational.
As many as four government of India public sector undertakings i.e. the Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL), Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) and Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL), Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) as well as DISCOM i.e. Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL), BSES Yamuna Power Limited(BYPL) were authorized by the corporation for installation and operations of EV charging stations.
These firms have been offered parking sites as well as roadsides to find out feasibility for installation and operations of EV charging stations.
Till date, in total 85 e-vehicles charging stations have been installed by these four companies i.e. the TCIL (35 stations), the EESL (22 stations), the BECIL (12 stations ) and TPDDL (16 stations).
All these e-vehicles charging stations are operational for public use. The complete details of their locations have already been uploaded on the official website of MCD i.e. https://mcdonline.nic.in.
Further, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi would install 92 more charging stations in its jurisdiction till December 2022. It is hoped that the interventions made by the MCD in getting charging stations installed in the city will make Delhi emerge as EV hub in the country.
