BJP National Secretary Sardar R.P. Singh on Wednesday attacked Aam admi Party for alliance talks with Congress party in Delhi saying that AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal is adding insult to injury of the Sikhs by trying to form alliance with the Congress Party whose leaders were involved in 1984 Delhi Sikh massacre.

Addressing to a press conference, R.P. Singh said that it was that Aam Aadmi Party who had promised to the Sikh community people that after coming to power, they will first send the accused person involved in 1984 Sikh riots to Jail and will insure justice to the Sikh Community.

“Today, Kejriwal is meeting with Congress Delhi President Sheila Dikshit and takes photographs with her for an alliance. All we know that Congress leaders were involved in the massacre of Sikhs and Congress President Rahul Gandhi has yet not apologized for this.”

“AAP had claimed that the cases related to 1984 Sikh massacre which have been closed will be re-investigated. But there are many cases in which investigation has not been done properly or the witnesses have not deposed. It was also being promised for constituting Fast Track Courts for ensuring justice but even after six years it has not fulfilled its promises to the Sikhs Community,” Sardar R.P. Singh, further said.

“Now AAP is entreating for alliance with the Congress Party in Loksabha elections and it exposes the double standards of AAP party. The party (AAP) which has 66 MLAs is begging for alliance with Congress which has not a single MLA in the assembly,” Singh said.

“I want to ask the three Sikh MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party that why they did not oppose the Aam Aadmi Party. The silence of these three MLAs is hurting the Sikh Community and Delhi BJP demands that these Sikh MLAs of AAP should resign,” Singh added.

Delhi BJP Vice President Rajiv Babbar said that it was PM Modi who formed SIT for impartial inquiry into these cases and then former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar has been awarded life imprisonment. However, former Congress Minister Jagtish Tytler is hiding to save himself. The Sikhs of Delhi will never forgive Kejriwal Government for betraying them. “We should thank to PM Modi who granted Rs 182 crores to the Sikh families but Kejriwal Government withheld this fund for long time.  Then, BJP had to agitate for it and only after that financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakhs was given to each family. ,” Rajiv Babbar said.
