ADG KR Suresh review operational preparedness of Indian Coast Guard north west region

Ahmedabad : Additional Director General KR Suresh, PTM, TM visited Gandhinagar on Tuesday, 27 September and reviewed operational preparedness and infrastructure projects of Indian Coast Guard (ICG) in the North West Region.

ADG KR Suresh, PTM, TM took over the reins of Coast Guard Commander, Western Seaboard on 13 September 2022. Prior taking over, he was Deputy Director General (Ops and Coastal Security) at CGHQ, New Delhi. The Flag Officer is an alumnus of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and National Defence College, New Delhi. He has also undergone Naval Higher Command Course and has held various important and prestigious appointments in ICG.

The ADG will also be visiting Jakhau, Okha, Veraval and Porbandar from 28 September to 01 October 2022. ADG alongwith Mrs Jayanthi Suresh, President, Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (Western Seaboard), during their visit will interact with ICG Officers, personnel and their families posted at these places.
