Blood Donation Camp Inaugurated at Northern Railway Central Hospital 

New Delhi: The president of the Northern Railway Women’s Welfare Organization (NRWWO),  Shikha Gangal, visited the Northern Railway Central Hospital, New Delhi, on Wednesday and inaugurated a blood donation camp there.

She was accompanied by other members of the NRWWO. At the hospital she was received by Dr. Amita Jain, MD, the Northern Railway Central Hospital (NRCH),   S.N. Pandey, IG RPF and other senior doctors of the  NRCH and officers of  the Railway Protection Force.

The blood donation camp was  organized by the Railway Protection Force under the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” at the  NRCH. Many RPF personnel, both men and women participated in the one day event.

The blood collected will be stored for future use at the hospital blood bank. The NRCH is the largest hospital of the zone with specialized departments for treatment of referred patients.
