Indian national shot dead in Nepal

Kathmandu [Nepal], March 28 (ANI): An unidentified group shot an Indian national dead in Western Nepal on Wednesday.
The police have identified the victim as Firoz Khan, a resident of Beliya. He had been working as a mechanic at the Auto Village, Mainabagar for a decade in the city of Butwal. Talking to ANI, Superintendent of Police at the Area Police Office Butwal said, “He was shot in head and chest at around 8:30 PM on Wednesday while he was returning to his rented room from the workshop. He died while undergoing treatment at Lumbini Provincial Hospital.”
Meanwhile, the police have initiated a probe in the case.
Security concerns have been raised in the area following the death of the mechanic. (ANI)
