Mayor of South Delhi Mukesh Suryan inspects Covid vaccination centres at Dwarka, Sagarpur and Madhu Vihar

A total of 46 Covid vaccination centres have been set up at the SDMC hospitals and dispensaries in which nearly 4 lakh doses have been administered.

New Delhi:    Mayor of South Delhi  Mukesh Suryan on Monday  inspected Covid vaccination centres (CVCs)  at Dwarka, Sagarpur and Madhu Vihar.

He  took stock of arrangements made by the SDMC  at these centres and sought feedback from people present there.  The mayor of South Delhi also distributed fruits and juice among people who were getting vaccinated.

Mayor Suryan said that the SDMC is making all efforts to control the spread of Covid-19.  A total of 46 CVCs have been set up at  the SDMC hospitals and dispensaries in which nearly 4 lakh doses have been administered.

On the occasion, the mayor said that every citizen should get Covid vaccine as it is necessary to defeat the Coronavirus. He said that Covid vaccines are completely safe and effective.

Praising efforts of the SDMC, the mayor said that adequate arrangements have been made at all CVCs and vaccination is being done successfully under supervision of doctors.

He asked people to get vaccinated as early as possible as it is necessary to control the Covid-19. He also appealed to people to follow Covid appropriate behaviours like maintaining social distance and  wearing masks.
