PSA Oxygen plants setup at the Northern Railway hospitals dedicated to nation

The inauguration was done simultaneously at the six hospitals coinciding with the inauguration of PSA Oxygen plants set up in each state/UT by PM Narendra Modi, from AIIMS Rishikesh on Thursday.

New Delhi:   PSA Oxygen plants setup at  the Northern Railway hospitals coinciding with inauguration of PSA Oxygen plants in each state /UT by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from AIIMS Rishikesh on Thursday, were dedicated to the nation.

The PSA Oxygen  plant set up at the Northern Railway Central Hospital in New Delhi was dedicated to the nation by Minister of State for External Affairs & Culture Meenakshi Lekhi in a function held at the hospital.

General manager, the Northern Railway,  Ashutosh Gangal, MD NRCH, Dr. Amita Jain, divisional railway manager Dimpy Garg and others were present on the occasion.

The PSA Oxygen plant at the divisional hospital near Delhi Jn. Railway station was inaugurated by Dr. Harsh Vardhan, MP Lok Sabha. Additional general manager  Naveen Gulati, chief medical superintendent Dr. Man Singh and others were present during the ceremony.

After the deliberating second wave of Corona infection, hospitals across the country have started setting up in-house oxygen plants to ensure availability of medical oxygen.

In this regard Northern Railway has provided PSA Oxygen plants in all five divisional hospitals namely Delhi, Ambala, Firozpur, Moradabad and Lucknow, said  a Northern Release release.

An Oxygen plant has been made functional at NR Central Hospital in New Delhi. All the plants over the zone were dedicated to the nation in functions held at the respective hospitals today.
